Science learning Journey to kyushu,Japan 2008

30th may 2008
All the students assemble together at Changi Airport at 10pm.Row 10,terminal 3.
Abang Aiz, Abang Azhar , Elya, Kak yani, Wak sarah, Abg Fuad, ahmad daniel went to airport to see me off. HAHA, Mummy, Jie and ayah also came along to wish me off..I had my Lunch at the food court; Ayam penyet and Ice Chendol. It was superb.

At 11pm, we check in our stuffs and had done the immigration part already. Then,had a last goodbye before i enter the terminal 3,departure Hall.. wooots. mummy been messaging me luh. haha.They never treat me french fries luh.

Our gate is B4. we were debrief about our discipline ,punctuality and pre-reflection.
We were giving a booklet. Is like a reflection book.

For our pre-trip reflection , they asked us this following questions:

1.What is your present impression of japan before this trip?
I felt that the people in japan are very polite and well-mannered. Girls have to be dress decently, to be sited very well-mannered. Sitting ,crossing out our legs, is not appropriate.

2.What do you hope to achieve out of this trip? (personal Objectives, learning Objective)
To learn more about Minamata Incident. know bout other of my friends better .Bring home with thousands of knowlegde regarding the traditional ,culture and the life in japan.

3.What are some things you have learnt while preparing for this trip?
To try to squeeze everything in my backpack. By doing so,i learnt to only bring those things that is necessary. I also tried to be organize.

4.What do you know bout the atomic bomb? what would you like to find out during this trip?
I only know that atomic bomb has affected alot of people's life. I hope i could learn on how the bomb works

5.Have you heard of Minamata Incident? what effects do u know that are caused by mercury poisoning.
I heard of the Minamat incident by my mother but she only told me briefly. I know that mercury is much denser than water. therefore, less sunlight is able to penetrate through the water..

6.Any other comments?
I am excited. My airflight sit is 39C. Im sitting beside alyah and Raysha

Haha. Then, we were given 30 mins (i tink so) to shop around the departure Hall before we went through the immigration again to board the plane. I just went around to take photo as my mum asked me to do. hehex. Then, after we entered the gate, i managed to use the computer for a short well. hehex. i even managed to online for a while. hehex.

Then, At 1am, we had already board the plane. The pilot flight of 656 brief about the safety and what measures have to be taken when the flight is about to take off.

Then after like 30 mins after the plane is already stable, they serve us food. The food served from singapore to fukuoka is Mee siam but is without the gravy plus fruits plus a bun and also orange juice.Then the rest of the time, i watch 'Ah long PTE LTD',played some games and listen to some nice songs. I slept at about 2 hours

Haha. then arrive Japan, Fukuoka at about 8.05am. Then, we get all our luggage and bags. we met Saisho-San. I can't believe tat we had to go up to 3rd floor to get onto the highway. Then our bus driver had kindly helped us to put all the heavy and big luggage into the Bus Cabin. haha. Arigato Gozaimasu Uncle!

Saisho-san explain more briefly about japan history and the Itinerary for the entire Science Learning Journey trip. She also explain more about the places in japan. One of them was there's alot of vending machine thats sells not only drinks but also frozen foods. Vending machine can be found everywhere easily. I realised that the common transportation in kyushu is Riding a bicycle because kumanoto is rural settlement and also the landform is very wavy because of the A-bomb.

The first Checkpoint we went was Fukuoka Energy Science Centre. At my first jugdement of the Science Centre was it was very small but when i entered inside,is full of my models .Our tour guide is Sasaki (i tink). She looked so sweet with the hat and the attire. First,they showed us on how they can supply of energy for the future. It is actually by the steam to move the wind turbine to covert into electricity.

We need to save crude oil because we shouldnt be too dependent much on crude oil for resources.Therefore Nuclear Plant is built up.The other reasons why they need to come up with the Nuclear Plant was because they do not want to increase in emission of Carbon dioxide. They even showed us a 3D video that needs a specialise mirrors.

Me n eunice went around the exhibit n played around with the activities n games. It was very fun. Some were very fun, Boring and also were Interesing till it brought us curiousity.
Then, we went to this corner to chop a stamp on our booklet.Haha, to some students in japan, the stamp of the museums is like a collection /hobby for them..interesting uh?
Then , we head off back to the bus. Our tour guide, see us off...She continue waving till the driver drove off the place. So polite right?

Next Checkpoint is the Saga Prefectural Space Museum.By then, i was a little sleepy already.We were quite late for the show but when we reached there, we were quite on time although they gave us time to go to the lavatory. haha. When the show began, everything is in japanese and the worst part is i couldnt understand. HAHA. I Move my chair backward and it was so comfortable that i fall asleep at the other half of the show.I really do not understand the story that they showed.

After the show, we head on to the other parts of the musuems . I went off with eunice, yan shan and emilyn. I went to play the Big playground. I thought it'll be interesting. After went through the holes n "obstacles", i soon realised that is nothing much but it is unforgettable experience because the "obstacles " really poke me somewhere.haha.Hmm, then we walked around the museums. Then, we go take a looked at the beautiful scenery. It was seriously beautiful.After we took photos, we went back to the bus.The duration from the Saga Prefectural Space Museum to the Inasayama Kanko Hotel is 3 hours long. I fall asleep for the whole entire trip. Had a great sleep because i concurred the whole two sit. ahaha. SHiOK!

YAHoo! Finally, we reached at the Hotel. We met some other students of a school..
Went to our hotel room. AS u know, my room mates is Raysha, Alyah.. They are adding in another 2 pple; Amanda and jie ying. We were at first kinda surprise of the decision made.
Ouh, to our surprise, there's 2 bed and 3 comforters and also the room is quite big than we thought of. haha. cool uh. then we went to have our dinner. The food tat was served was okay.. but they also got served SNAILS.. ahahak. i felt disgusted. Hisham went to try. At first, his expression seems to say that it taste okay.. but as he took another bite, his expressions became sour.Can u imagine that? i tried also and i do not like it.

We did some reflections again. Some people were quite quiet and nervous because we were shy to share:
1.Upon arrival in japan, what was your first impression of japan?
The japan people are very friendly, polite and kind. Litters are not found commonly.

2.How has the kyushu Energy Science Centre changed your outlook on energy consumption? How can we sustain our supply of energy for the future?

We can sustain our supply of energy for the future by the steam to move the wind turbine to convert into electricity. Singapore doesnt have Nuclear Power Plant because it is expensive , there's lack of land and space and there's a problem of removing /disposing the waste.

We need to save crude oil as we do not want to be too Dependant much on crude oil for resources and do not want to increase in carbon dioxide emission

Then went to drink milo and eat biscuits "oat" that was brought all along from singapore. AHAHAk.
:D, then went to eunice room.. Eunice is so funny luh. She can do her packing very long leh..
Hmm, since raysha and alya already fall asleep while amanda and jie ying was eating at Emilyn's room, I went to drink my wonderful milo and did homework at emilyn's room loh. hehex. then fall asleep at my room on the comfortable comforter. zzz..

Nagasaki/Kumamoto

I woke up at 7.30am i tink. Was quite late already. I went straight to the toilet with my clothes that i want to wear.Hmm, Me and alyah do not know where's the place to have our breakfast. Then, we gave up. We went to sit at the waiting area, Mr ho then asked us whether we have eaten our breakfast. we replied no. Then , although he have although point us th place, we were still quite blur.HAha. still morning mood but managed to found at last. We found out that we are the last one who is bukit viewan in the restaurant.Alya and me start to eat faster.

Hmm, at 8pm, we head on to a place where there's a statue there'll be a talked from a A-bomb survivor.

The A-bomb survivor shared his story then..
this is the story. I only jotted down briefly..

He was 10 years old..riding a bicycle when nagasaki was bombed. he was 40 metres from the A-bomb.He was flew off from his bicycle.He then lie flat on the ground. He thought he will die but In his mind, he keep on saying " I must not die. I can survive".When he woke up, he realised everywhere around him like the buildings, were shattered and destroyed. Everyone around him were dead. There was fire. Soon after, he realised that his skins were worn out.

Then,the rescuer rescued him.. He have to travel to elementary school which is 27km far.
six days later, his body has lack of blood and there's no much bleeding. then, he was sent to another elementary school to be treated. He had his blood transfusion but sadly, partly of his body (internal organ) is destroyed.
(Then, there's this photographer who arrived to japan and took pictures of him and died on 9th august 2007 due to radioactive.)

He suffered severely and no one thought he could survived include the doctors and his families until his families prepared his funeral. He couldn't move at all..

Then after few years, he managed to move slightly. On 1960, he received treatment for his underneath organ. Underneath organ, there's dry-out skins and that made his body very hard n his internal organ ,fragile.

He had a big hatred towards nuclear weapon. Over 250 survivors had died of cancer to the fact from radioactive. 400 of the survivors filed into courts. However, japanese government "is just a burn".

Now , he is 73 years old. The doctor said that he may also have eye cancer on his right eye.

Jun jie asked whether his wound still hurt till today. He replied in japanese " Yes, especially at the back of his body. During the operation, the doctor could not take away the hard stone( dry-out skin) in his body because is difficult."

On 2004, he tried to appeal to not have nuclear weapon..(2 times)
On 2006, he went to US once
Then in the year of 2010, he will be going to a big conference about the against of nuclear weapon.

Hmm....I looked at his eyes and i could sense he has suffered alot.

We took some photo-takings with the survivor. Then we head on to the Atomic Bomb Museum. After the TAlk from the A-bomb survivor, we actually know what to look for at the Museum. I could really feel the solemn when i am in the museum. IF anyone could realise, all the clocks struck at 11.02am. That really attracts my attraction

Then head back to the Peace Memorial Park for Lunch..We had japanese packed lunch.It is much better than yesterday dinner uh.Then we learnt the Obento SOngs

Then were tansfered to Kumamoto City. i was asked to sit beside Mrs angela toh because need to put 3 big boxes at my place. AHahak, i so not used to sitting beside teacher. Then i really want to go to hotel back first luh because need to charge my camera as it is about to battery flat.Before we head to the Kumamoto Katsu Center Hotel, we went to Kumamoto Municipal Water Science Museum.There's hands-on activity. The soil actually helps change the dirtywater into clear and clean water.Amazing uh.The soil is the one which makes the water nice to drink and thats why is pure water.

There's one activity:
we were given two unknown cup.Is identified as A and B. We were need to identify which A or B is the Sugar water or a pure water. we were only given another pure water and a straw. N solved..
Hmm, is got to do with refraction .. Is difficult to explain to u how to identify which is which through this post.Must reality. AHAHHAHAk.Then after having some fun with the activities, we went for lunch..It was delicious. Sat at the same table as

As per normal, room mates are alyah n raysha..Then, hmmm, this time round, the hotel has a shopping centre.There's daiso, mini shop and mcdonalds. Cool, isn't it? Hmm, then we had our reflection:

1.How did the talked by the survivor of the atomic bomb make you feel? At what point did your feelings change? describe what happened that make you feel that way.
a) I pity him; when the Japanese government said" i was just a burn" and the japanese Government did not admit that it was because of radiation.
b)He had really persevere through all the obstacles. Firstly, he had really set his mindsets that " i can survived".Secondly,his families and doctors thought that he could not survived. Lastly, despite his pain and sufferings, he still alive till now.. (for over 61 years of suffering)
He also said about " a lifetime of sufferings".

2. How did you feel when you were looking through the exhibits in the atomic bomb museum?.
I really felt the pain/suffering that the victims of the A-bomb is going through.

3. which Video clip did you watch? how did u feel about it?
I wached a video of A-bomb survivors' testimonies

They were burned all over their bodies. Some were imbedded with galss and wood. they also have large blisters. when they wanna carry the victims, Since there was no stretches they make themselves a makeshift stretches..

they have lack of basic nessesities.
- they drink the water that is black in colour which is very radioactive due to desperate of water. therefore, that water that they drank actually broke down some internal organ of the people who drank it.

I felt very sad for them as although some survivors were not hit by the A-bomb, they still get severly affected from the exposure of radiation.
I wished and i hoped that there'll be peace and Hope for the people to continue living and persevere for their rights. It hurts when the government didnt take any action after the people suffered.

Hmm,,, thats should be all for reflection on 1st june 2008.

Kumamoto

Woke up quite early..Hmm, had breakfast.I had milk, an egg, bread, and other nice dishes.by then, Im full.

Then, we head off to visit to Suntory Plant (soft drinks & beer plant). It was really an enjoyable tour around the place. After they told us the processes of the Soft drinks nd beer plant, we had sample of orange juice, coke, coffee and last but not least is plain water. We also had nice yummy peanuts. Hmm, Is not those small cute cups uh. haha.Then brought some nuts, peanuts, and peas from the souveniers shop. is nice luh. Quite worth to buy.Oh okay.

Notes that i jotted down during the tour at Suntory Plant.i wrote down briefly only...

Kumanmoto can provide pure water.
Raw material(malt) from barley
1.break into tiny pieces.
2. mixed up with water

Yeast is about 5 micro... and is put into the barley juice.It can gives us alcohol and carbon dioxide.

At the filteration Room- it remove the yeast from the beer by adding heat.
Then, Packing room...
300 workes only worked in the factory because only certain number of beer and mineral water is produced. 1500 cans are packed in 1 minute. Minerals water are also packed. ~microfilteration.

On the way to the Hotel, each of us were given briefly about the preparation for the trip to the hitsuyukan High school after that. Everyone was in a rush. I quickly change into Chinese ethnic costume.Haha. "jadi anak cina". AHAk.i check all my souveniers into my bags and etc.
In the bus, i was thinking whether should i just give to them the nice pen jus like that without wrapping. Then, end-up, choon hui, me and ting hui wrap the pen with nice plastics bags. THNK you.

Exchange Programme with hitsuyukan High School

Everyone was very nervous.Especially for the presenters.Once we reached the Hitsuyukan High School, the principal and some other teachers of the school gave us a very big welcome.Then, they ushered us to their big hall. Those showed us a very impressive and great, terrific performance.After that, they borrowed us drumsticks and let us play the drum. Hmm,we went back to our sit and the students there gave us a final performance for us. great isnt? We then tour round the school and went to their lecture room. Students really gave us a warm welcome.All the presenters , include me, went up to their small stage and start presenting our School Flag and National Flag. Finally, we welcome all the buki viewans o come up on stage to sing the song; title: Together, we make a difference..

Then, suddenly there's a group of students came and pushed me to them. They asked me to partner but can' t find because got odd numbers of girls. Then jordan ended us being pull by the girls. AHHAHAHAk.. then in our small groups , there's Jordan, me, and other 4 girls ( 2 from grade 1-same age as us and the other 2, not very sure). hahak. cant remember luh.We talked about singapore , music and etc..

Then, we need to go off. I managed to give out my name card and souveniers to them. Hahak.had given out a total off 14 name cards so far. :D for fun.
Duration for the exchange programme @ hitsuyukan High School is very short luh. Didnt get to communicate longer.. Hope they would come back to Singapore and visit us.

Then, after that we went back to Kumamoto Katsu Centre Hotel. We were given time to go shopping until at around 7++pm i tink.I went to daiso and walk around at the basement in groups.At the end, left me , Syafiq and hisham at the daiso because the rest wanted to go somewhere else. HAha. Hisham and syafiq became my promoter. Hahahak.I bought chopsticks and etc.. Then, we went to assemble at the lobby as Paul instruction in the bus. We went to a restaurant at the shopping centre of Kumamoto Katsu Centre Hotel for dinner. Hmm, all the halal students sit at one table together . After having our stomach very full, we went back to our hotel room. Then at 9pm, we had our reflection..
This is what we have discussed:

1. what are two learning points that you have gathered from today's programme?
I have learnt that giving away little gifts (example: Name cards , unique pen) is actually much appreciate.
I learnt that we, singaporean must be more socialise and friendly to be more polite , well-mannered and disipline.

2. How do you feel after the visit to the local school in kumanmoto?
I have mixed feelings.
happy; as we get to watch the interesting performance and we get to try the taiko.
sad; because we have less duration to communicate more with the students in the local school
Dissapointed; that we took quite a long time period of them to warm-up and talk /communicate with them.

3. What are some of the similarities and differences you see between local schools and singapore schools? How do u feel about such differences?
Similarities: Same age as us
School starts at 7.30am too

differences: They wore sch unifourm for the entire day/outing. They open their shoe once in the sch's compound.
n etc......

4. describe one thing you have learnt from the japanese so far. Does this inspire you to do something on your own to change yourself?
-greeting to show respect
-know when or not to express our own expression/feelings
-be more courteous
-be more helpful
-do things more sincerely

P.s: we were asked to write what should we do to be a better person.. something like that..
This is what i say:
Say "ohayo gaizamasu to the driver throughout the whole trip
show a little kindness such as pressed the lift for someone..
example such kindness are: Everytime when any customer steps into the shop, the employers will do greetings. Although they were tired of saying greetings everytime, they were still continue to show their enhusiastic.

Kumamoto/Minamata/Mt Aso

We then had our breakfast again at the 3rf floor wiith our bags and luggage. Then we were transfered to Minamata. During that whole journey, Saisho-San gave us more information about the Minama disease. Then, when we were about to reach, we look around the scenery of minamata. It is really an eye-opening.. Beautiful seh. eveyone started to take photos of the scenery.The funny part is when you have plan to take a capture of one point of view of the scenery, surely either u have missed it because something else is blocking or u or u put flash n tat causes reflection or maybe u r too slow .. hahahhak.most of the time i was giggling at my other friends who are struggling taking photos.

Finally we have reached the Environmental Education & Intelligence Centre. They showed us a slideshow. then , halfway through, they asked for volunteers. Since no one wants to go, i stood up and volunteer. The three of us, me , jordan and i cant remember who, were quite blur on what to do. There's 3 different "clear" water.. either one of " clear "water is not clean. HAha. IS mine cup of "clear water " is not clean. It turns pink if im not wrong. Then, once the show is over,We looked around the exhibit. It was fun than i thought it was. I did the quiz..

we also went to Minamata Disease Archives and Minamata Disease Municipal Museum

Then we left the Minamata Disease Municipal Museum and head on to Act-B Recycling Plant. The sad thing is my battery went flat already.
At the bus, Everyone was given a mask and a helmet for safety and health.Hmm, at the Act-B Recycling Plant, they separate all the materials into different categories. Big items such as refrigerator, television can also be recycle by breaking down into categories such as plastics and etc.

Then we head on Hotto-House (with sharing by victims of Minamata Disease). I sat at the front sit... sitting opposite the minamata disease. I am so shy to interact with them. Each and every of the Patient there told us about their life and told us their dreams. They have dreams and they still keep on striving for their dreams despite having such obstacles. We should learnt from them. Hmmm, then we proceed to two Different groups. My group went to the room on our right while the other on the left. We did bookmark with the patients. The patients help us iron and laminate it. :D

Then we sign at their guestbook.. They then sang this song..

Then we also sang our Singapore song , " together , we make a difference"
Then we waved goodbye .. we head back to the bus.

We were then transfered to Aso Farmland. My village number is 6. We stayed right at the end. Then,i suddenly heard the girls shouting, I came out of the room. hahak. They were shouting because they saw slug outside thier room . hehex. I helped to clear it for them. They asked me to check out their rooms first before they entered. Then, i saw a larger slug in the toilet. Then, they shouted again.i took the tissue and pick it up. I throw it outside the room. Then, when raysha and alya overheard about the slug, they also freak out. Hmrp, they then asked me a favour to go around the room and check if there's any slug.I was even asked to check under their beds.. outside the room and i actually saw a slug outside the room but i kept quiet if not they will more freak out. haha.Unfortunately, Raysha i think go and shine her torchlight at the door, then, when she saw 3 slug, she screamed very loud and super long. HAha.. I cleared it up after all. Hmm, then, song yi and eunice went to separate rooms because they were super scared. Eunice went to share the room with me , alya and raysha. We didnt mind because there is 4 beds. hahak..

Then, i proceed to hot spring bath... Hmm, skip this part uh...
After i am done with the hot spring bath, i felt little giddy and sleepy. The water is super warm.I am not used to it.

Everyone assemble at an open area and was freezing to cold. Mr ho decided to have the reflection at Village 9 i think.. which is suppose to be Song yi and Eunice 's room. hahak. IT is near my room ..

Here's what we talked bout during the reflection session:
1. How is the recycling programme different from the ones we have in school or singapore? give at least three examples.
they can recycle and separate all the items into 22 types while in schools , they only separate all the items into like glass, plastics bottle, cans , paper...
Japan went into recycling larger items such as refrigerators and television. It will then separate into different types of materials.

2. How did u feel after the talk by the victim of the Minamata disease?
I felt that they do not make their poor abilities as an obsacles to achieve heir dreams or hope.
They actually still look forward to achieve their dream although they are old / became minamata disease patients.

Pui Ngai said he envy and admire them a lot.

I felt dissapointed in myself as although they have poor abilities, they didnt stop pursuing their dreams while people like me, will tend to give up easily. (e.g . Failing of exams)

3.Conserving the Earth for our future- keeping the Earh healthy! What would you like to learn more about how we can better deal with our environmental problems?
- Reduce is more important
-Recycle, Reuse
-Collection of rubbish by type ( sustainable development)

after the reflection, I went straight to charge my camera. I didn't get to charge earlier because there's only 1 switch ...Alya used first. :D
Then we went for night walked with Mr Ho, Ms sharon Loh n Ms Toh.. That's include only me, jordan, chee fong , eunice and the malay boys except shariz, syafiq n shuqri .. Did i missed anyone's name? hahak. Then, after walking round, we went to this area n took some photo-taking.. Then, chat along the way before reaching our room. Once we reached our room, we did our packing at around 2++am. I made milo and ate some biscuits. I slept at around 4am .. Then woke up again at 5.30am..N fall asleep again back with eunice until 7.30am. OH no, we are late. Raysha, me, Alya, eunice start rushing to the lobby with our bags and luggage.. LOL. Hmm, we are the last one to arrive. OOPs! hehex..

Mt Aso/Fukuoka

Before we took the ropeway to the Mount Aso Volcano, there's a souvenirs shop. I didn't buy anything because i do not know what to buy . When we reached there, It was freaky cold. Since Chee Fong is challenging with his friend on who can last longer and bear the cold, he passed me his cold sweater. HAHAk. great.. i feel better somehow. :P

Then took some photo-takings. hmm, at the volcano, the water is greenish and i am telling you , Mount Aso Volcano is an active volcano.

Aso Volcano Museum!! wooots..I was super sleepy when they published us the video. hahak.
Hmm, there's a lot of interesting facts of the volcano.. :D...The photos will do the talking later.. Then, we head back to the ropeway..Proceed back to the Bus and went to a restaurant. Yummy, nice food..

The food have made my stomach full.. OKay.. Next checkpoint is Aso Nishihara Wind Farm (wind power plant). I was expecting a museum but ended up we just stood there with the guy answering our questions one by one.. There's several question that was asked..

Arrived in Fukuoka around 5pm. We check in to the hotel at Fukuoka and went shopping at this big shopping centre that linked three different shopping mall together...!
Then after we had our unique lunch at 4th floor of the same shopping centre, we continue with our shopping again.. Then at 8.30pm, those who following paul to a different shopping centre were assemble near the " Burger king"... hahak.. i followed paul to the other mall..
At there, the electronic devices such as handphones and cameras is so cool. KEkekex..

Then walked round with a friends.. Then, at 10.00pm, we went back to the entrance..On the way back to the hotel, i was crapping jokes n laughter with jordan and Vicky.We bought some drinks at the 7-eleven. hehex. was very hungry. LOL. Then, have reflection at 11pm..

We didn't talked much bout during the reflection.. :D..

-Smell sulfur (none)-jus predicted
-Very cold
-the path is very rocky and rough
-Beautiful scenery
-The water colour is emerald green

Head back to our room.. and i did some cleaning of the room as it was in the mess.. Hmrrph. then, after i cleared up already, i listened to music.. N slowly, i fall asleep.

Fukuoka/Singapore

Then when i woke up, i realised that we are late.. wooots. I ran here n there.. hahak..
I didn't have my breakfast but straight away went to the lobby with my big backpack and handbag... When i reached at the lobby, not only me , alya and raysha who woke up late.. hehex.. Everyone looked like Zombie..Then, we headed back to the bus.. i managed to sleep for a well.

Once we reached at the Fukuoka airport.. We waved goodbye to The bus driver.. Arigato Gozaimasu! :)
Then, as we check in to the airport, we said goodbye to Paul and Saisho-san, BYE!
Saisho-sun, has been a great translator uh..
Then, at the immigration, there was bag checking. Damn it luh, i was hold-on. They asked me to took out everything from my handbag. Then i found a bottle of water. I forget that there 's water inside my bag. They took it and throw it away for me. LOL. Ian , hisham and some other pupils also get caught for other reasons. hehehex. After we check in, we were given another 15 minutes to buy anything at the terminal.

Didn' t brought anything. I was just sitting and helped Mrs Angela Toh take care of her stuffs.
We board the plane at around 10am.

At the plane.. I fall asleep for 1 hour ever since the plane started to flight off. The stewardess offered me a packet of peanut..Then , i was like so blur when he offered me because i was half-awake.. haha. Then, i fall asleep again. I did my reflection book also.

hahahak... Then watched movies and games again..Hmm, then i went to this game " word traveller".. It taught me different languages. Due to time constraints, I managed to learn korean language. The basic words only:
hello- An nyong ha sae yo

How did this experience compare with others that you've had?

This experience is more than just alearning trip as we got to learn more about the traditional culture and the behaviour of japanese.

Trip such as military band trip which is like knowing about the places in Malaysia and visiting those small factory was very general and more into bonding trip but this japan learning trip 2008, was just more than getting know more friends who went along with me to japan buat was really sharing each other opinions and experience of japan by having a session called reflection.
After all the knowlegde that have taught me to be a better person, i wont forget my trip to japan trip for the res of my life. And also, i was such a great time trying to understand and speak in japanese language.
